Maximum production and delivery were in lignite
Marketable production of solid fuels was 74 thousand 354 tonnes for hard coal, 4 million 667 thousand 764 tonnes for lignite and 359 thousand 665 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in September 2017. For the same month, deliveries(1)
were 3 million 317 thousand 641 tonnes for hard coal, 4 million 520 thousand 841 tonnes for lignite and 437 thousand 931 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.
The lowest ratio of production to deliveries was in hard coal
The lowest ratio(2)
of marketable production to deliveries was in hard coal by 2.2%. This ratio was 82.1% for coke derived from hard coal and 103.5% for lignite.

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to the thermal power plants
Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places was 48.5% to thermal power plants, 11.7% to coking plants, 6.3% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal whereas, 83.5% to thermal power plants, 11.4% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite and 93.4% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.
