Maximum production and delivery were in lignite
Marketable production of solid fuels was 92 thousand 340 tonnes for hard coal, 6 million 878 thousand 338 tonnes for lignite and 378 thousand 430 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in October 2017. For the same month, deliveries(1)
were 3 million 992 thousand 290 tonnes for hard coal, 6 million 659 thousand 443 tonnes for lignite and 465 thousand 468 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.
The lowest ratio of production to deliveries was in hard coal
The lowest ratio(2)
of marketable production to deliveries was in hard coal by 2.3%. This ratio was 81.3% for coke derived from hard coal and 103.3% for lignite.

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to the thermal power plants
Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places was 42.6% to thermal power plants, 12.5% to coking plants, 4.2% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal whereas, 86.5% to thermal power plants, 8.4% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite and 93.1% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.
