Domestic producer price index increased by 1.71%
Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 1.71% on monthly basis, by 11.66% on December of the previous year basis, by 17.28% on same month of the previous year basis and by 14.47% on the twelve months moving averages basis in October 2017.

D-PPI increased by 2.11% for mining and stone quarrying, increased by 1.68% for manufacturing, increased by 2.10% for electricity and gas and increased by 0.35% for water supply compared with the previous month.

The highest monthly increase was in crude petroleum and natural gas
The highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were index for crude petroleum and natural gas by 10.15%, coke and refined petroleum products by 7.63%, basic metals by 3.54%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were index food products by 0.48 %, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations by 0.01%.
The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in energy products
According to main industrial groupings classification in October 2017, the highest rate of monthly increase was in energy products and the highest rate of annual increase was in intermediate goods.
