Domestic producer price index increased by 0.99%
Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 0.99% on monthly basis, by 0.99% on December of the previous year basis, by 12.14% on same month of the previous year basis and by 15.66% on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2018.

D-PPI increased by 4.38% for mining and stone quarrying, by 1.63% for manufacturing and decreased by 8.87% for electricity and gas, by 1.15% for water supply compared with the previous month.

The highest monthly increase was in coal and lignite
The highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were index for coal and lignite by 13.34%, for other transport equipment by 6.98%, for other non-metallic mineral products by 3.56%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were index for electricity, gas by 8.87%, for water; water treatment and supply services by 1.15% and for wearing apparel by 0.89%.
The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in capital goods
According to main industrial groupings classification in January 2018, the highest rate of monthly increases was in capital goods and the highest rate of annual increases was in intermediate goods.
