News Bulletins

The first announcement of the new information is made via press releases. In the context of Official Statistical Programme, you can get access to the National Data Release Calendar and reach press releases which were announced or will be announced.

You need to become a member of our website if you want to get e-mails for the press releases announced.

Statistical Tables

Statistical tables are given under the Statistics title which has 16 main titles and 51 subtitles. Each subtitle has the following categories:

• The Last News Bulletin

Statistical tables are given in the category of Data and users can reach the last news bulletin from the Last News Bulletin, graphs from Indicators, follow all publications from Publications and see the definition and frame of the data from Metadata.

Database

Dissemination databases which consist of hundreds of subjects and thousands of variables about social structure, economic situation and cultural life of Turkey can be used via Internet. The output of databases which can be reached after selection of the variables and running the queries are available in many different formats. You can reach database applications from here.

Regional Statistics

You can reach data for geographical levels starting from the year 1995 according to the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics in Regional Statistics part. Variable selection can be made and tables can be created from different subjects. You can reach Regional Statistics part from here.

National and International Selected Economic Indicators

Address Based Population Registration System

Population by province, age group, sex, literacy, marital status and also internal migration and immigration data is available here as of the date of December 31. Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) Teletext Broadcasting
In order to offer variety of data dissemination, main headlines of the news bulletins releases are available on teletext beginning from page 590 in the framework of the protocol signed between TurkStat and the Turkish Radio and Television.
TurkStat Library
TurkStat Library is a special library that has a wide range of collection of publications in the field of statistics. You can reach all of the Turkstat publications without any subscription. Also, Turkstat library is carrying out its studies as a depository library of OECD. TurkStat publications at the library are also available on Turkstat website.
Statistical Data Information Line
You can reach data produced by TurkStat with Data Line. Data about the subjects Price, Foreign Trade, National Accounts, Industrial Production, Population and Labour are updated regularly. After calling the contact number +90 312 4100410/8, you can select the subjects using the instructions of the system.
Publications
You can reach the Turkstat publications in the form of printed or CD format.  Detailed information on our publications is given in the TurkStat web site andPublication Catalogue. Micro Data
Micro data files comprise individual data for one given statistic, which have been filtered appropriately to achieve anonymous information so as to ensure confidentiality (Regulation of Procedure and Principles of Data Confidentiality and Confident Data Security in Official Statistics).
TurkStat serves micro data in two different ways stated below:

• Micro data CDs that are given to the users with an agreement signed by both parties (Group B)
• Micro data that can be studied at Data Research Center given to the users with an agreement signed by both parties. (Group A)

Our web site, news bulletins and publications do not contain all the data that the TurkStat can offer. In many cases via our files and archives, we can give an answer to the information requests. Free of charge data (including micro data) is given to the users below;

• Public enterprises with general and annexed budget, with fund, revolving fund budget and with special and autonomous budget
• Media enterprises
• Universities (including the requests of institutional projects)
• International organizations
• Official enterprises of other countries

%50 discount is given to the users below;

• Faculty members and students from Turkey
• Turkish students from universities abroad
• Students from primary or secondary education

Requests coming from other than these institutions are priced according to the rules of the board resolution of Revolving Fund Administration.

• Pricing of information and data determines according to the number of sheets or the size of the document in bytes, depending on the demanding of any data on magnetic, electronic form or hard copy,
• Upon your choice, the information and data will be sent by mail, e-mail, cargo or fax.
• After signing a protocol between both sides, eliminating the personal information, Micro data requests are also handed to the users with a fee calculated according to the rules of the board resolution of Revolving Fund Administration after signing a protocol between both sides.
• Basing on the 5th article of the board resolution of Revolving Fund Administration, it is allowed a discount of 50% for the requests made by academics and students from domestic universities and by Turkish students studying at foreign universities with an official letter, and if the teachers and students from primary, elementary and high schools with an official letter or their school?s identiy card demand the information and data, too (excluding micro data).

Prices of the CDs of the standart micro data sets by the publishing period and by topics and of the nonstandart micro data.

Price of the data noncompressed on the magnetic form;

(Price of the data is added 1 TL. for every 100.000 bytes in the interval 100.000 - 1.000.000 bytes, and increases by adding 2 TL. for every 500.000 bytes after 1000001 bytes.)

Price of the micro data acquired by studying at Data Research Center;

• Per hour price of the employee is 15 TL.
• Per hour price of the data usage is 12 TL.
• Price of the page usage is 5 TL. for the first 100 pages and 0.1 TL. for following each additional page.
